The key to retail success is undoubtedly multi-channel marketing. It is paramount for any modern retail business to have
a web presence and even more important for it to be able to offer its products for sale on the Internet. Up until now
e-commerce has been daunting for any retailer without I.T. experience. From the myriad of Internet marketing companies and
web designers how do you pick the wheat from the chaff ? And how much will you end up spending ? On top of the financial
considerations you also have the technical - how do you successfully integrate your EPOS database with your website shopping

cost solution which addresses the complexities and costliness of ecommerce for users of SimplEPOS - SimplCart.
SimplCart integrates seamlessly with SimplEPOS to provide a complete multi-channel marketing solution for the modern
retailer. As a solution it provides:
- Webspace hosted on our secure SimplCart server (shop.simplcart.com).
- The SimplCart shopping cart.
- Integration with your merchant account provider (to process credit/debit card orders from the website).
In essence this is everything you need, aside from a Broadband Internet connection at your store (so that SimplEPOS can
communicate with the SimplCart server). We've basically done all the hard work for you so that you simply need to carry on with
your business. And here's how easy it is to setup and use:
- Give each product you want on your website an image in your SimplEPOS database.
- Optionally add notes/a description for each product.
- Select the option 'Maintain Website' in the Store Owner' menu of SimplEPOS.
- Select "Upload website".
This will automatically create a shopping site for you under the name http://shop.simplcart.com/[business name], where
[business name] is your business name without any punctuation or spaces. The required data is automatically uploaded to
the SimplCart server which is ready and waiting for your SimplCart site.
Once your site "goes live" all you need to do is periodically check the "Print web orders" facility in the Sales Assistant's
menu of SimplEPOS to print off any web orders that you have received. All orders come through to you as approved and paid, so
all you need to do is print the orders off and ship them out. It's as simple as that.

SimplCart currently integrates with the following payment gateways (for processing credit/debit card payments) : HSBC,
Streamline (TBC), Barclays ePDQ (TBC), Worldpay & PayPal. It's often fairly easy for us to integrate SimplCart with other
payment gateways and in most cases this would be done free of charge, so please ask if you want to use another acquirer.
Pricing for SimplCart is done on a sliding scale, depending on the number of orders you process on
your site:
